Joel Kindberg

is the planting pastor/elder of Grace Covenant Church.  Joel joined Grace Community Church's staff in January 2014 as an associate pastor being equipped for church planting.  Joel grew up in Apple Valley, Minnesota and upon graduating high school moved to Abilene, TX to attend Abilene Christian University. Joel met Jane while attending ACU and they were married in 2002. Joel and Jane had previously served in youth ministry in New Mexico, Oregon, and in Texas as resident parents at North Central Texas Academy. Joel completed his Master's of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX in 2014. God has blessed them with four children, Braylin, Camden, Piper, and Hazel.

 
 

Dennis Fowler

Dennis, a native North Texan, is married to his wife and high school sweetheart, Julie, and they have two adult children, Madison and Jaxon. Grace Covenant Church has been their church home since 2017 when the Lord relocated them to Weatherford from Godley, Texas. As a Bible teacher and varsity basketball coach at a local Christian school, the Lord directed Dennis’ steps, raising him up to the office of elder in April 2021. In 2023, the Lord called him to the vocational ministry at GCC where he serves as our Pastor of Connections and Assimilation. He received his undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University and is currently pursuing further equipping in biblical counseling. Ted Salley

Ted and Christy are both native Texans.  Ted grew up in Waco and Christy grew up in Burleson. They have been married for 30 years and have two adult boys, Clayton and Parker, a beautiful daughter in law Leah, and a precious new grandbaby boy, Simeon. Ted is a graduate of Tarleton State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration and also a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. Ted has been a pastor and has been involved with church planting. Ted’s passion is for teaching and loves leading others through books of the  bible verse by verse. Ted and Christy joined GCC in April 2022 and he became an elder in 2024. They love the church body at GCC and the family bond that is created among its members. Ted enjoys playing golf and he and Christy love to travel and spend time with family and friends.

 

Tyler Ivey

Tyler grew up in North-East Texas where he heard the gospel of Christ preached faithfully at his local Baptist church. He moved to the DFW area upon graduating High School to attend Dallas Baptist University. During his time in college, Tyler met his wife, Cassie, while serving at their church in Irving, TX and knew he had to ask her out. They were married in 2018. In 2021 they moved to Philadelphia for Tyler to receive his Masters of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary. In 2024, God’s providence led them to move to Weatherford for Tyler to join staff as a minister. Tyler loves having opportunities to talk about baseball, Puritans, war history, and traveling.
