Training/Equipping

We partner with the Center of Biblical Counseling and Discipleship. We send members of GCC to their annual biblical counseling training in order to receive practical biblical teaching. BIBLICAL COUNSELING IN PRACTICE

  • At GCC we see everyone as mandated to make disciples of all nations. (Matt 28:16-20) Part of making disciples means that we are all called to disciple and counsel one another. We do this by admonishing, encouraging, and teaching from the Word of God. Biblical counseling training is then applicable in all areas of life!

  • Another way that GCC uses Biblical Counseling is with our partnership with the Options Clinic of Weatherford - a ministry of Grace House Ministries. We partner in providing advocates for their ministry; an advocate has the unique opportunity to sit down with a person who is seeking all their options in a pregnancy. Advocates sit with hurting people and point them back to the gospel as their true need during this time and encourage them to choose life.
